There are rules to adhere to when translating official documents for government agencies, which you may or may not get right if you translate yourself. Also, translating your own documents yourself is something that is generally frowned upon, if not suspicious. When it comes to translating official documents for submission to state and federal agencies such as USCIS the risks involved surely outweigh the cost.
How much does US Certified Translation Service cost?
We charge 0.10 US dollars per source word, plus a certification fee. USCIS and federal agencies accept electronically signed documents. But if you need wet signed/embossed stamped paper documents, we also charge you an additional fee to cover additional time involved as well as postage and stationery costs. Typically, a short document such as a diploma or a driver’s license will cost you around 40 US dollars, including electronically signed certification.
How much time will US Certified Translation Service take?
This depends on our schedule at the time of your request. However, typically, we take about one day for assignments up to 10 pages. If you’re in a hurry, we can arrange weekend or overtime work for an additional fee -subject to prior agreement, and deliver your translation on time.
